They're actively working on the PS5 version of DCUO which will be followed by a much needed graphical update/rework sometime after. The membership stuff changed so now all of the episodes (content) are available to everyone (of course there's some limitations to incentivize paying for the membership). It recently got new developers and they've been really busy making changes. Still alive and doing fairly well for a 10 year old MMORPG. It was and still is very obscure to find any gameplay of it.
It was a monster catching and training mmo like digimon or pokemon but the monsters had to be leveled to level 500 for their first form and 1000 for their second and so on, catching monsters was really hard as well. It was such a amazing time.Īlso, does anyone remember the MMO Monsters & Me? I always played in Private servers, we had a small community and you always ran in to regulars, some went doing dungeons and some just hang out in town chatting. Ragnarok technically still exists but I never played the official iRO servers or euRO servers, a friend borrowed his account once way back and even back then the official servers were a nightmare, always over populated, you couldn't take a step in cities without stepping on a player shop, experience and drop rates were hellish. It's only very recently the finaly managed to make a private server out of it. City of Heroes/Villains was my all time favorite MMO, the community and the community events being held were so fantastic.
